How do I reverse a plastic strand in the 3Doodler Start?

Simply double click the large Feed Button (Stop / Start Button) to reverse a plastic strand when you want to switch color or when you’re ready to stop using the pen.

    Completely. The 3Doodler Start Pen and Eco-Plastics are specially designed to be completely safe for kids ages 6 years and above. There are no hot parts on the pen and our Eco-Plastic is non-toxic, BPA-free, and completely biodegradable in your household compost. It typically takes about 45 days for the plastic to break down, depending on various environmental factors.

  • How does one charge the 3Doodler Start?

    The 3Doodler Start is sold with a micro USB charging cable, so you can plug it into any powered device with a USB port to recharge, though charging via USB power brick plugged directly into a power outlet is recommended. It can take up to 2 and a half hours for a the pen to reach a full charge.
