DIY Wall Decals to Make with Your 3D Pen

Are you moving into a new dorm, apartment, or house? Even if you aren't, you might have some empty wall space that you could get creative with. We have a project that'll help you create special hand-crafted wall decals. This unique creation will be originally yours and not something marked up by retail. What You'll Need

1 Assemble your materials!

Before you get started gather your 3D pen, plastic of choice, DoodlePad, and print out your stencil.

2 Start Tracing

Place the Doodle pad on top of the stencil and start tracing the stencil.

3 Add unique elements

After you have traced the bones of your decoration it's time to add the unique elements. Here is where you get to select which triangles to fill in. Create a pattern that looks cool to you! OR make it completely random - your choice!

4 Doodle and Layer Additional Triangles

Separate from your creation, Doodle some independent triangles. We'll be using these triangles to creatively add to our larger structure, giving it dimension and added depth.

5 Make Your Decoration POP

Use these Doodled triangles to make your decoration really POP. Using the welding technique, attach the triangles, use your fingers to support the triangle as it dries and cools.

6 Create something expresses your unique personal style!

Doodle as many or as few triangles as you want. At the end, you'll be left with a unique piece of art that'll add texture and artistic flare to any bare wall.
