What You'll Need
- 3Doodler Pen
- 3Doodler Plastic
- LGBTQ Flag Stencil
- Clear Tape
1 Gather your materials!
Make sure you have your 3Doodler 3D pen and all the right colors for your flag, and print out the free stencilprovided.
2 Get the stencil ready
Use the tape to cover the stencil. This will make the removal of your Doodle easier.
3 Create the flapping effect
Use a tissue to help create the illusion of the flag flapping in the wind.
Place the balled-up tissue behind the stencil and Doodle on top. This will create an undulating surface resulting in the illusion of a flag waving in the wind.
4 Doodle your flag
Use the stencil to create your flag. If you choose to make a rainbow, like us, then use the lines on the stencil to create your color stripes.
5 Hit it with the details
Once you're done Doodling the flag, carefully peel it off the stencil. Then go back over the backside of the stencil a little, filling in any holes that might be visible to the eye.
6 Add a flag pole
Now that your flag is finalized let’s add a flag pole. Take a piece of plastic and “weld” aka "attach" the plastic strand to your flag. The length of your plastic strand will determine how tall your flag will fly.
7 Display proudly!
There you have it! A flag ready to be displayed on a desk, in a potted plant, used as a bookmark, or anywhere you might want to show it off as a symbol that you identify with.
