One of the great things about the 3Doodler compared to regular 3D printers is that you can hold the object in your hand and work on it from any direction. You don't need supports or internal structures! But that doesn't mean adding supports isn’t sometimes useful. By creating just a little bit of internal structure, you can greatly increase the strength of a hollow object.
