Can I use the DoodlePad with all of the PRO+ Filaments?

Compatible: ABS, PLA, NYLON

Compatible on Backside of DoodlePad Only: FLEXY, WOOD, Metal

Not Compatible: Start Plastic (Start DoodlePad only)

Avoid pressing down too hard with the Nozzle onto the DoodlePad surface. Note that these filaments may leave residue on your DoodlePad. Masking tape will get most of the pieces off, but using them may still damage your DoodlePad.

Please ensure you are not using the 3Doodler Start DoodlePad, as it is not compatible with the PRO+ or its accessories.

  • How do I switch between filaments properly when using the PRO+?

    With the pen turned on and set to the temperature of the filament in the pen, carefully remove the nozzle using the nozzle removal tool. With the nozzle removed, if the material is long enough, simply reverse the plastic out of the back of the pen. If needed, insert the unblocking tool through the nozzle-end of the pen to push any remaining filament out through the feed port.   • Can I use the 3Doodler Start with my Create DoodlePad or other 3Doodler Create Accessories?

    No, the 3Doodler Start is not compatible with any of the 3Doodler 1.0, 2.0, or Create products or accessories, including Plastic Strands, DoodlePad, Nozzle Set, JetPack, Doodlestand, or Pedal. The only exception is the Project Book, which we encourage using for 3Doodler Start projects too.
