Clog Charms

Summer is right around the corner, so it's the perfect time to create DIY clog charms. Take inspiration from summer fruits that will soon be available in farmers' markets and at fresh fruit stands. Design a lemon slice, strawberry, watermelon, grapes, or an avocado. Once you see how easy they are to create, you'll want to design some to reflect your style!
Specifically designed for 3Doodler Start+ Logo PNG

1 Gather materials!

Get the Start+ eco-friendly plastic strands, the DoodlePad, and the free stencil. Find a clean space to work.

2 Trace the lemon.

Trace the lemon shape in yellow and fill in the rind. Fill the slices with white for contrast. Repeat this step to create two halves.

3 Connect the lemon.

Hold the two halves together and seal the edge to connect the slices. Keep the top slightly open and gradually seal the top using a back and forth motion.

4 Create the backing.

Trace the two circles on the stencil and fill them in. Doodle a small line of material. Use it to connect the two circles together. This will form the back of the charm.

5 Connect the back to the charm.

Add a small amount of plastic to the larger circle. Attach it to the lemon slice.

6 Add your clog charm to the shoe!

Insert the small end of the charm into the clog. Create more charms to bring on the summer!
