Eiffel Tower

This is a project inspired by a stencil available in the Start+ Activity Guide. The Eiffel Tower looks stunning once fully constructed, and is a great way to practice your Doodling techniques and test your fine motor skills and attention to detail. Remember though, that Doodles come in all different shapes and sizes. There has never been (and never will be) a one-size-fits-all approach to Doodling. So keep practicing and have fun with it!

1 Assemble your materials!

Gather together your plastic, 3D Pen, Doodlepad, and stencil.

2 Doodle The Pieces

Trace out the stencil. Note that there are five different sections (labeled A through E) that make up this project. And you will need to Doodle multiple quantities of each section.

3 Compile the Individual Sections

After all the pieces have been Doodled, it's time to connect like pieces together to create the building blocks of the tower. Work your way through each section, starting with section A and working your way down to section E. Each section has 4 pieces that you will connect (using a thin line of extruded plastic) along the long edges. You can use the corner of a table (or even your hand) to stabilize the pieces as you fuse them together.

4 Construct the Tower

Now that you have constructed the 5 3-Dimensional building blocks of the Eiffel Tower, it's time to stack them on top of each other! Attach them together using a thin line of extruded plastic and let them cool so that the plastic can harden fully, solidifying your Eiffel Tower.
