What You'll Need
1 Gather your materials!
Gather together your 3Doodler 3D printing pen, some plastic, your DoodlePad, and the free stencil.
2 Trace The Stencil
Using the template, trace out the three-piece needed for the cake. Use different colors for the cake and icing to make it as realistic as possible.
3 Assemble the Cake Shape
Using freshly extruded plastic attach the three pieces that form the cake together.
4 Doodle the Back of the Cake
To fill in the back of the cake just doodle back and forth to cover the whole back of the cake in plastic. Once you have a good base, using the nozzle set use the ribbon nozzle the create a different shaped plastic when it's extruded onto the back of the cake. This will create more realistic icing.
After the back of the cake looks like a chef just finished with it, we can add more doodled icing to the top of the cake.
5 Add Sprinkles
Using different colors of plastic add sprinkles to the top of the cake.
6 Create the Candle
Using the stencil, trace out of the nine shapes. Holding the two nine's close together and extruding new plastic to help form a 3D nine. After the candle is formed, using different colors of plastics add an outline and sprinkles.
7 Add some Fire (Pretend fire that is)
Trace out the plastic flame. You can just doodle it once for a 2D flame. Or doodle it twice and repeat the process from step 6 to create a 3D flame.
8 Put it all Together!
Add the fire to the nine candle and add the nine candle to the top of the piece of cake.
