3D Cowboy

It's rodeo season ya'll. That means it's time to hit the livestock show for some fun and games!  And here's a tutorial to bring a little cowboy culture home. If you don't live near a rodeo, or know what to expect, check out this week's blog to learn more.

1 Assemble your materials!

Grab your 3Doodler 3D pen, plastic, this week's stencil, and your DoodlePad.

2 Trace The Stencil

Place the DoodlePad on top of the stencil and start doodling the horse, the cowboy, the lasso parts and the cactus.

3 Attach The Lasso

Now that your cowboy is doodled let's attach his lasso! Take the non-looped part of the lasso and apply fresh plastic to it's tip and your cowboys hand, so it looks like he's holding it in mid air. Once that is attached you can attach the loop to the top of the rope as shown in the gif.

4 Make them stand!

Once everything is doodled, add a thicker layer of plastic to the hind legs of the horse, to the cowboys feet, and to the cactuses. This will create a sturdier base for your figures to stand upright vertically.

5 Give them a home!

Congrats, you've completed your rodeo scene! Let it be or go and let it loose on your other action figures.
